SkillSwap ("we", "us", "our") is a skill-trading platform at skillswapn.com that allows users to exchange skills with each other at no cost. SkillSwap is operated by an independent developer.
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and the skills you choose to share. You may optionally provide a profile photo, location, and bio. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. We also collect messages you send through the platform and posts you create on the Swap Board.
We use your information solely to operate SkillSwap — to show your profile to other users, match you with compatible skill partners, and enable messaging. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except Supabase, our database provider, which stores your information securely.
SwapCoins are a virtual in-app currency with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts. They exist solely to reward engagement within the app.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings tab in your dashboard, which permanently removes all your data from our systems.
SkillSwap is open to users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you are under 13, please have a parent or guardian review this policy before signing up.
We use Supabase's industry-standard security practices to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
